Service with a smile!

Ta dah!

My handy friend Alex popped round for a cuppa today and noticed the standard lamp standing sadly in the corner.

It's been there since I acquired it for a tenner at a car boot sale in Norfolk nearly a year ago. 

My intention was to get it re-wired and paint the stand a bright glossy green.

I've not yet done it.

But darling Alex, said he'd wire it up for me so I could at least use it.

He popped it into his boot - and within an hour I had a call saying he'd done it!!

He popped the lamp back in the car.

He popped back round to mine.

And 

HEY 

PRESTO!

I CAN SEE!!!
